King's English is a...

bookstore in Salt Lake City, Utah.

I love touring through in the store in person, but the website fails to showcase the warm, inviting atmosphere that the bookstore provides. The website for King’s English also could benefit from a more intuitive system for browsing books. I believe that I can layout their homepage and browsing books section to be more engaging and easy to use.

I chose the King's English redesign project because I saw an opportunity to use my design skills to support a bookstore that I love.

During my research, I was able to have lovely conversations with the owners of the bookstore and they were more than helpful in assisting me during my design process.

In my spare time, I would add the following:

Mockup additional pages like a Cart and Checkout pages.
Perform more usability tests to refine current pages.
Dedicate more research time for website accessibility to create a better user experience for an older audience.
